Golden Strip Video Productions Satisfaction Guarantee
It is our goal to provide you with excellent service and an excellent product that makes your special event even more memorable and perfect. If you are not satisfied with your video montage simply let us know within 10 days so we can get the problem fixed. If there is no way for us to fix the problem we don’t want you to be stuck with something you are unsatisfied with, therefore you can simply return the video montage to us and we will give you a full refund less the shipping costs we incurred to ship the video to you initially. Before you return an item to us please contact us first and obtain a return authorization number.Every possible attempt is made to include every photo sent to us. However, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS does not undertake to guarantee any specific picture be included in the slide show. Considering that certain photographs, depending on their quality and visual appearance, are impossible to scan and/or include in the presentation, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS reserves the right to eliminate photographs from the slide show. We also reserve the right to crop, color correct, or retouch any photograph used in the presentation to increase visual appeal. GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS is not responsible for photographs that appear to be slightly darker/lighter than the original prints, as specific colors may not appear to be the same on a television screen. All attempts will be made, however, to produce accurate representation of each photo. The client is responsible for numbering each photograph for the purpose of specifying the order in which they are to appear. GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS will make every attempt to place the photos in the exact order requested, but does not guarantee the exact order specified. GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS assumes the right to alter the order requested by the client (the order may be slightly changed to increase visual appeal, to help the “flow” of the video, etc.) If no order is specified, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS will attempt to categorize the photos chronologically. In this case, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS is not responsible for photos that appear in the incorrect order.
PAYMENT
Within 14 days of filling out an order form, the client’s full payment is to be received unless otherwise agreed upon with a representative. This includes payment for extra copies ordered, extra CD’s, shipping, etc. Payment is non-refundable (see “Extenuating Circumstances” for exceptions), as we begin production as soon as payment is received. Dates are reserved only when payment is made by cash, check, or money order. Any bank charges incurred due to returned checks will be charged to the client along with a $50 insufficient funds fee. All personal checks must clear before slide show is delivered with no exceptions. With this in mind, clients must plan accordingly. All selections are final once client has turned in completed order form (this includes all photograph/music/package selections, etc.) unless otherwise agreed upon with a representative. All photographs and music selections will be returned to the client only after full payment has been received. Full payment must be received before the slide presentation is delivered with no exceptions.
DVD Corrections
We want this video to be YOUR video – not ours. So we want you to be totally satisfied and happy with it. If there is an error in the video montage like a picture being out of order or a misspelling simply let us know and we will correct the error and get the corrected video montage sent to you ASAP.
Damage Liability
Golden Strip Video Productions can not be held liable or responsible for any damage that occurs during the shipping or transportation of your photos to or from us. For that reason, we suggest that you send duplicate photos by making us a copy so that you may keep the original if possible or by scanning the pictures yourself (remember you get a 10% discount for scanning the pictures yourself). We especially recommend that you send your pictures and other materials to us by using a reputable, insured and trackable method of shipping such as UPS Ground. Be sure to package your materials carefully so they won’t be damaged during shipping. We also recommend that you pack the pictures in ziplock bags so if the box were to get wet during shipping the photos would not be damaged. We have never had a problem with damaged photos and don’t foresee any problems in the future. We take extreme care while handling your photos because we understand that these are irreplaceable memories.
Copyright Liability
It is your responsibility as the client to ensure that you are in compliance withcopyright law. The job order includes a signed confirmation that you are authorized touse all photographs and musical works to be used in the creation of your video montage. Golden Strip Video Productions is not responsible for verifying this information, andwill not be held accountable. All music used in our videos is copyrighted material by which GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS does not hold copyrights. By submitting an order form and agreeing to GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS‘ terms of service, clients agree that they have purchased and possess their own original copy of all music used in their video. The Copyright of all videos is retained by GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS. Reproduction by video or any other means is prohibited. Original files remain the property of GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS and may be used for advertising, display, or any other purpose seen appropriate. In return, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS agrees to use the same in good faith and in good taste.
DVD Compatibility
We use only the highest quality materials (Including DVD-R and DVD+R discs) in producing our video montages, but unfortunately some of our materials are not compatible with older model DVD players. You are responsible for checking the compatibility of your DVD player before order to make sure that these discs will work. We are happy to mail you a sample DVD for free so you make check your DVD player’s compatibility or you may look at the following list of compatible DVD players (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers) to see if your DVD player is listed. We’re sorry but there are no refunds because your DVD player in incompatible with the disc.
EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES
The due performance of this agreement is subject to alteration or cancellation by Golden Strip Video Productions owing to any cause beyond their control. GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS takes the utmost care in respect to processing, designing, and transporting client’s slideshows. Every care is taken in scanning, designing, and processing using professional materials. In the unlikely event of total technological failure, or any extenuating circumstances that prevent the video from being delivered on time, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all money paid for the event package. In the event that a video is damaged during the shipping process, GOLDEN STRIP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS will ship a new video to the client (at no additional cost) upon the client’s return of the damaged video.
Privacy Promise
Golden Strip Video pledges to take the utmost care in protecting your personal information. Any and all personal information that you provide to us on an online, printed, or telephone order form or through our opt-in e-mail list will be for Golden Strip Video Productions use only. We promise to never sell, lease, rent or compromise your personal information at any time, in any way.
CLIENT AGREEMENT
It is mutually agreed that the following terms form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted by Golden Strip Video Productions in writing.
